Based out of Columbus, Ohio, Nine Good Teeth stormed onto the local scene in June of 2004. Dubbed 9GT by its diehard fans, these boys come ready to entertain, with their mixture of gritty, southern rock and pounding, groove-oriented hard rock.
Following in the footsteps of bands like Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, and Pantera, 9GT has become known as a band that likes to party and focuses on entertaining the crowd with their tight, loud as hell, energetic live show. This attitude and attention to the fans has amassed them a loyal and evergrowing fanbase.
In the time they have been together, they have already opened for such acts as Nonpoint, God Forbid, Indexcase, Skindred, and Bobaflex as well as winning the two 99.7 The Blitz sponsored battle of the bands. What started as a group of friends having some fun, had quickly turned into a whole new monster. The national exposure and battle wins had afforded 9GT the ability to enter the studio. In April of 2005, they entered John Schwab recording studios, loaded with a handful of dynamic, emotionally charged, rock songs, to record their first EP release - American Soul Vol. 1.
American Soul Vol. 1 was released in May of 2005 and 9GT hit the road. Focusing on a regional level, they continued to win over fans, at every stop, with their unique, Rock sound and powerful live show. This and the nonstop writing only fueled their desire to complete a full length release. So, once again the band found themselves at John Schwab studios to record American Soul Full Volume. It is set for release in June of 2006. Get ready for another crazy summer, as the trainwreck that is 9GT rolls on.............
