Lucky b/k/a Mark Shawn Clarke Jr. a/k/a Mark Milly started his journey as an aspiring rapper in the music world in the spring of 1999 when he was 12 years old. His first recordings were made while he was a part of a duo called "The Baltimore Assassins". Who later added a third member and changed their name to "GFZ: GoodFellaz". GoodFellaz included Lucky, M-80 (a very talented white rapper) who Luck has known since the 6th grade and Infinite (who now goes by 4th Quarter). As the GoodFellaz these three young aspiring rappers released 2 mixtapes and temporarily split up after the incarceration of Infinite. After this occurred M-80 stopped focusing on rap and more on the streets. Luck on the other hand kept doing music and working on his craft while also getting money legally & illegally. He released his 1st solo ‘CD with music on it’ in January 2005 titled "To Whom It May Concern" and even though few people heard it, he got good feedback from those who did. After releasing his first mixtape as a solo artist he also took a break from making music and moved down south to Georgia for a short period of time. While in Georgia he planned on how he would make a come back to rap and in August 2005 he founded Y.H. (Young Hustlaz) Inc. Which he later changed to $_Y.H.G.M_$ (Young Hustlaz Gettin Money) due to numerous reasons but its really a strong epidemic and now not only is Lucky just another rapper, he's a BOSS, a general, the captain of his own movement and C.E.O of his own soon to be large empire...at the age of 20! He no longer likes to be referred to as just a “rapper” because in his eyes everyone is trying to become a rapper these days. He prefers the term “recording artist” because he does more than just rap. He’s a young boss so as the boss why wouldn’t he sign himself? As well as over look the careers of his own artists on Y.H.G.M’s roster which is very talented & determined to change the game. Luck has come a long way from his younger days as a "rapper" and now he has BIG DREAMS and major plans for his career, his company, his family and friends. So all you so called rappers need to go back to the drawing board and step ya game up! He has spent long days & long nights online promoting himself & his label. Myspace, Facebook, many hip hop forums, youtube, etc. YOU NAME IT he was on it trying to get people to notice & get in tune with what he has built from the ground up. Y.H.G.M! He has plans to take over the music industry with his unique style, versatile flow & team of young, hungry artists. Luck will not stop until he’s on top. Are You Ready? He hopes so!
