About Me

I am a composer, guitarist, and flutist (also bassist, mandolinist, synthesist, and occasional blues harp player) living in the San Francisco Bay Area. This site is planned to let you hear some music that is not on my solo CD "The Brandnewbug Concertos." Up now is "Unit 4MK," my dedication to ace guitarist, composer, and all-around swell guy Mike Keneally. The monotonous organ lick was inspired by Steppenwolf. Next is "My Life with the Ghost of Bush," an improvisation for electronically distorted flute. Next is "Happy Armadillo Dance." Take two happy armadillos, get them tanked up on double espressos at the Three Bees, and turn 'em loose on the keyboard: that's how you get the piano solo in this song.
