About Me

Cadaveric Engorgement was formed in late '00 by Kyle Hartnaft, Roary England, Josh Cambell, and Kevin Welch originally as a side project of the band Goregantua. They began performing semi-professionally in 2003 until Josh Cambells temporary departure from Cadaveric Engorgement to join the band Hate Engine in early 2004. During this time second guitarist Godfrey joined, bringing with him his own style of play and knowledge of music bringing the band to new levels. Soon there after Josh Cambell returned to CE, and they recorded their self titled demo, featuring the songs Damned, Die For Jesus, Vile Requiem, and Plague Bearer. In 2006 Jon Godfrey departed from Cadaveric Engorgement for personal reasons, and was soon replaced by Carnal Sin guitarist Phill Calvin. With Cadaveric Engorgement back in full force they finished two new songs, Head on a Stick, and Vengeance Through Dismemberment. Returning from a set of shows in California, Cadaveric Engorgement began recording their first full length album entitled Plague Bearer in May of '07. Due to problems beyond their control the album's release was delayed, and is expected to be released in early 2008.Cadaveric Engorgement is stronger then ever, and has begun work on new material with the intention of far exceeding the expectations of even the longest running CE fan.
Band page was created and run by Gina. With help From Lindsey.
Phill is the only band member with a Myspace page. So he will be answering any questions about the band, shows, and so forth.
