Linda Clifford's single "How Long" is available now!
Linda Clifford is back with an incredible new single, " How Long " (originally recorded by Phyllis Hyman), with hot new mixes by Paul Goodyear, currently at the top of the Billboard Dance charts with his mixes of Kristine W's "The Boss". Also included are mixes by Davidson Ospina ( Christine Aguilera) and a classic "Original Recipe" retro mix by Rick Gianatos. Supporting Linda vocally on backgrounds are Sherrie Payne, Pamela Vincent, and Joyce Vincent, aka Supreme Voices, with vocal arrangements skillfully put together by Pamela.

Can't get enough of Dreamgirls? There's another Dreamgirls "soundtrack" around thanks to Rick Gianatos. Gianatos is from the "school" of the Moultons, Pettibones, Gibbons and al. He did disco mixes for Shalamar, Gene Chandler, most artists on AVI Records and many others in the late 70s. He also remixed and produced way into the 80s, 90s and 00s. If you collect disco records, you might have seen his name on the disco mix credit.

Honestly, these ladies are the real deal, from the time when you actually had to have TALENT to make an album, not just the dollars to buy the best producer of the moment to make up for your lack of a voice and the best sound engineer to doctor your vocals into something less painful, and that seems to be a perspective that's entirely lost in this generation's willingness to accept image and marketing in place of ability. The topic addressed in the lyrics is nothing new, but never before has it been stated so directly, and from people so apt to say it. This is what Leela James was trying to say in "Music", but didn't quite have the years and experience to make it sound founded. Scherrie Payne (final lead singer of The Supremes), Lynda Laurence (Supreme member from 71-74) and Freddi Poole (who tour across the globe as Former Ladies of the Supremes) bring us, "Sisters United", the anthem of the summer and truly a song that's going to be talked about for years to come.
