We are the Red Hackle Pipes & Drums of Cleveland, Ohio. Formed January 26th 1997 by Pipe Major Alexander (Sandy) Hain, we are a show band, street band, and a competition band. For those who do not know Sandy Hain, he was the Pipe Major of The Black Watch, aka The Ladies from Hell. The name of the band "Red Hackle" along with the wearing of the Black Watch cap badge and the Red hackle on our Glengarry are due to Sandy's membership in the Black Watch.
