ASRTIST / PERFORMERBorn into a family of artists in Perth Western AustraliaStudied classical dance since the age of 10.Studied for a Bachelor of Craft at Curtin university at 18Spent holidays working on relatives sheep / wheat farm in the deep south learning fence posting, mule sing, batik dyeing, wool spinning, weaving and occult spells.Fully trained in classical ballet/ contemporary dance and Indian classical dance - graduating from the West Australian Academy of performing arts in 1987.Co Editor with Gaye Godfrey of the Australian Kate Bush fanzine DREAMTIME for 6 years .Company member of Still moves dance laboratory and numerous West Australian independent dance projects .Joined Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in 1992 and trained as puppeteer performing nationally and internationally with the company until 1998 .Final work being a co directed production for the West Australian Maritime museum.Left Western Australia for love and flew to Sydney in 1998.Found love, angst and stress and lots of work.Performed with Theatre Of Image and did motion capture animation roles for XENA and the rock group KISS playing Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley in the official Psycho Circus interactive game.Performed in the national touring production of the HOBBIT Played The great Goblin, The Great eagle, The Great Troll and SHELOB the spider and Balin the dwarf - and only fell over once in a giant troll costume after the body braces snapped - right in the middle of stage fully micro phoned to a full house and said "FUCK" - oh what a night.Found love in Melbourne to the first person I met at a leather dance party where someone was murdered a few years later at the venue in a major machete attack. We are still together 7 years later.Customer service work has kept me off the dole between gigs – I learnt Im good at something outside my known circle of interest.Was in the official stage production of The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe and played the puppetry role of ASLAN touring nationally under the direction of Nadia Tass.Presented third solo art exhibition "BEYOND ROME” inspired by my travels through Italy.Was a RAPTOR for the Australian world premiere tour of Walking With Dinosaurs.Have lived in Hotels all up for nearly three years.I am not standard and I embrace eclectic ness, truth of the path, people who will challenge them selves and acceptance in at least trying to understand others before dismissing them.I’m am INFJ – have done the damn test 3 times and still come out that way.Creationists should have sex with Scientologists and bear extreme right wing religious children and find a planet to exist on whilst we all watch the interesting evolution on satellite universal TV.Everyone has stories that we can learn from .Teach me something,Tell me a story,SHARE THE KNOWLEDGE!
