Hi, my name is Amy but you can call me Ames! I'm a single mother of 2..Chelsea(17) and Alexis(10). My girls are my main priority so with that being said, I will have to say that I don't have a lot of free time.
A few of my faves are the color mauve, pasta of any kind, white zin, chocolate covered strawberries(mmm!!) and in the fall, I love to watch the leaves change colors. I also like drive-in movies, bowling, camping, bonfires, road trips, boating, hockey, baseball, sunsets, walks along the beach, cookouts and I absolutely love, love, love to bake, so you can also call me Betty as in Crocker if you'd like....lol! A pet peeve of mine are peeps that chew with their mouths open cuz I was taught not to. Also, watching peeps disrespect others..no matter what their age is. I can't stand it when my girls don't clean up after themselves. Afterall, they're old enough to know that there is no maid that lives in this house. Another thing that bothers me is seeing parents that don't participate or even pay much attention to their kids. If you can't handle that then use protection is what I say. All I'm saying is that it's not easy being a single parent and it would be nice to get a break once in a while.
I have very few, what I call true friends and that's really sad to say. Not that I've been perfect all my life but I'm old enough to know that your true friends a lot of times are what keep you going.
I'm a good communicator but tend to be a lil long winded at times. I love making new friends and am not shy to walk up to a person and introduce myself. oh and this one time at band camp...........lol!
