A Whale Of A Label started in 2003, with the goal of releasing a 7†ep by Kahoots (mission accomplished!) & to start bringing the music we love to our home of Martha’s Vineyard (first show was The Oranges Band & Kahoots). From there we have morphed into being more of a show promotion entity, and less of a record label, although we have released a handful of Coyote/Blind Boy Monroe cd-r’s & (a split label release w/I and Ear Records) Chris Brokaw 7†ep along the way. Currently we are broke as can be, but we’re having fun with our new radio show ‘Bad Vibrations’ on the new local up-start radio station wVvy.org 93.7fm! Eventually we will release more records, including several Noah Maxner projects, a vinyl compilation of some our our friends & favorites, and more! Oh yeah, we’re still promoting shows on occasion as well!
