Late Night at Rockwood Music Hall

About Me

Late Night @ Rockwood Music Hall is a weekly celebration of the history of pop music...
Andy and I host the night.
We do it on Wednesday's from 1AM until Ken makes us go home.
Late Night works like this:
Every Thursday(ish) I post a blog here outlining the theme for the coming week.
People then choose and prepare a song they'd like to do.
When we get to Wednesday night...
People tell me that they have a song to sing and at some point I let them.
There are two loosely enforced rules:
Rule #1: Pick a song you've never performed.
Rule #2: Come up with an original arrangement of the song. Rock-N-Roll Karaoke happens somewhere else.
Rule #3: If you're sitting in with a singer and you're sober enough... pay attention to their chart and watch their cues.
Rule #4: I don't talk to managers.
Rule #5: Stick around for Jerry Cherry. He's the best part of the night.
If you have questions...
Please ask.
