In May 1999 I began writing the songs that would become my first solo record. "The Funky Green Monster" was finally released in 2002 after being pushed aside for about a year. I had started two new projects in that year, playing guitar for Monster Movies a Rock/Hip-Hop mix, and making beats and rapping for Heady Nuggets . Both included D-Lac, a talented M.C. I had known for a long time. After parting ways with Monster Movies in 2003 I started the band Tu RAAN with my high school friend, Jorge The Bassplayer. I played guitar and did vocals. We played around Ohio for a while with a couple different drummers when Josh from Odious started playing drums for us. After a couple of months I started playing with Odious doing samples and vocals. In 2005 Odious, Tu RAAN, and Heady Nuggets, all released albums, However due to losing our practice spot and busy schedules Tu RAAN was sadly forced to call it quits by the end of that year. In the spring of '06 I began working on putting a live show together with Heady Nuggets. We have been playing all around Columbus, playing out of town, and working on our second full length album. In 2007, my friend DJ Ramsey sent me some Hip-Hop beats he had been working on, and asked me to write some raps over them. We call the project Stereo Tactics . After many line-up changes in my Metal band Odious we parted ways in the fall. I had a lot of fun in that band, we got to play all over. I got to play out of state a lot and meet a lot of cool people. But everything has an end I guess. Shortly after that I finished an E.P. for my acoustic solo project Junk Tank . I had been working on that for a while so it was good to get it done. Stereo Tactics is looking to put a live show together and has started working on a full length album. A second Cid Gage solo album is also in the works.
