Tasteless are back with their new album "Empty Buildings Standing Still" – Out in Switzerland at the beginning of april 2009. After their groundshaking introduction with their self-titled record (Released 2003 in Switzerland and 2005 in France through Jerkov Music), the quintet from Fribourg managed to stir up the grounds as well throughout Germany and Austria with their second release "The Sea" in 2007, with the help of Strange Ways (Minor Majority, Ken, Sport,...) fame, just before launching the quest for the third opus.
Benefiting from the recent line-up changes, which resulted in reducing the band to a Four-Piece, Tasteless now focus on a more direct approach, leaving behind the traces of lyricism provided by the then omnipresent cello – Fans of heavily moustache'd rock definitly can rejoice...
BIO FRANCAISE
Tasteless nous revient avec son nouvel opus " Empty Buildings Standing Still " dont la sortie suisse est prévue pour début avril 2009. Après ses fougueux débuts marqués par un premier album éponyme sorti d'abord en Suisse en 2003 (Saïko Records), puis en France en 2005 (Jerkov Music), le quintet fribourgeois a foulé le sol allemand et autrichien avec son deuxième opus " The Sea " en 2007 sous l'aile bienveillante du fameux label de Hambourg Strange Ways (Minor Majority, Ken, Sport...) avant de se retirer pour se consacrer à ce troisième opus. Profitant d'un changement de line up réduisant la formation à un quatuor, Tasteless s'oriente aujourd'hui vers une musique plus directe, laissant derrière lui le lyrisme que lui attribuait l'omniprésence d'un violoncelle. Les adeptes de rock à moustaches peuvent se réjouir...
