Create or get your
very own MySpace LayoutsHey world! Michael/Mike/Dronbo/Dronald/Dronanator/Wee man here, welcome to my little space! So, what to say?! Well I'm a bit of a fun loving party person, I'm always out swinging round St Evenage or London misbehaving with the lads and lasses. Job wise working up in the city still, love the London vibe, and of course tequila fridays! *****DJ Info: DJ Mikey D started out in 2003 where I first appeared on the UK club scene for my own event CUPID MUSIC (see links for websites) where I played as a resident and managed the brand and promotion. My style is a mix of fun and funky vocal house but I like to sometimes throw in a few deeper, more progressive tunes for a bit of a mix! I am currently playing under the Cupid Music brand and am playing a resident slot for a night called Funk Skool at the Sienna Bar alongside the infamous Paul Dela Ross on a Thursday, so come down and check it out!*****Cupid Music started out at Mooch and The Square and as popularity grew moved to the bigger location of RPMK which was followed closely by being voted the 3rd and 4th most looked forward to events to attend in October and November’s 2003 issues of DJ MAG. Mikey D played alongside pioneers of the harder scene with Graham Gold, Brandon Block and Carl Nicholson as well as stars of today including Ben Kaye, Miss Behavin, Zana Mills, Little Miss Loud, Ali Storm, Jana, Danny Gilligan, Paul Reeves and Simon Rutherford. This gave Cupid Music an exciting blend of funky house, hard house and trance. With the added bonuses of live percussion from the likes of Mr Stix, fire breathers and dancers it was always a night to remember!
