I HAVE BEEN IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS SINCE 1964. IN THAT TIME I HAVE PERFORMED ON STAGE WITH SUCH ARTISTS AS THE BYRDS, JOE VILALE OF CROSBY, STILLS, NASH AND YOUNG (THIS WAS BACK IN MY HIGH SCHOOL DAYS AT THE LOCAL ARMORY IN THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS), BOBBY KIMBALL OF TOTO, THE MICHAEL STANLEY BAND, COUNTRY MUSIC ARTIST MARK CHESTNUT, JOHN (CURTIS) MARLATT, ETC. I BECAME A PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN WHEN I WAS 15, PLAYING FOUR NIGHTS A WEEK THROUGHOUT HIGH SCHOOL. DURING THE VIETNAM WAR, SERVING WITH THE US ARMY SPECIAL SERVICES, I WENT ON AN "EXPLOSIVE" TOUR OF THE FIRE BASES. TRAVELING EXTENSIVELY, I PERFORMED IN LOCATIONS DEEMED TOO HAZARDOUS FOR CIVILIAN ENTERTAINERS. I HAVE ASSISTED MANY LOCAL ARTISTS IN THE RECORDING STUDIO AND, IN THE 80S, MY ORIGINAL SONG "ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT" APPEARED ON CANTON, OHIO'S GOODROCK 107 COMPILATION ALBUM. IN 1996, MY ORIGINAL "ROCK-A-BILLY BABY" REACHED NUMBER ONE IN EUROPE ON THE INTERNATIONAL FOREIGN INDEPENDENT CHARTS. IN 1998, JOEY WELZ OF BILL HALEY AND THE COMETS RECORDED MY ORIGINAL SONG "WHO DO YOU WANT ME TO BE". I HAVE BEEN WRITTEN ABOUT IN BILLBOARD MAGAZINE, AS WELL AS MANY LOCAL PUBLICATIONS. MY MUSIC HAS BEEN BROADCAST ON RADIO AND TELEVISION ACROSS THREE CONTINENTS. MY RECORDED MATERIAL AND LIVE PERFORMANCES HAVE BEEN PLAYED ON NUMEROUS OHIO RADIO STATIONS. THE BANDS I HAVE WORKED WITH LOCALLY OF WHICH I AM MOST PROUD INCLUDE THE MAGICS, HARMONY DAWG, THE TERMITES AND BIG LOU AND MOVE. MY PRIMARY GOAL NOW IS TO STEP BACK FROM ALL THAT, STRAP ON MY ACOUSTIC GUITAR AND SING THE ORIGINAL MATERIAL AND COVER SONGS THAT HAVE BROUGHT ME JOY AND SOLACE THROUGHOUT MY LIFE.
