Caution the Senate was formed by two sets of brothers in early 2000 in a rented house in Lagrange Ga. Justin Evans, Mason Hatcher, Joe and Howard Turner. Originally under the name Lost Cause the members wanted to blend a mix of punk with a touch of metal as well as an alternative influence. When you listen to CTS its easy to spot each genre in any given song. After months of writing and years delaying. CTS finally started to perform in 2007 under the new name Caution the Senate.(A name created by Justin and Howard after a conversation about our sometimes idiotic government and a make believe scenario of an alien or zombie invasion.) Shortly after, they picked up Brock Sirmons who brought some much needed metal leads to the mix. One thing that stands out most about CTS is their unique approach to music. You will walk away from a show with a sense of actually hearing somthing fresh and different from the day to day "radio music".Frontman Justin Evans vocal style has often been compared to a blend of Dead kennedys and System of a down. You will find it trully unique. Listening to CTS is one thing. Seeing these guys play live is another.CTS has been known to play venues fully dressed as pass and current presidents, beat aliens and zombies down on stage with baseball bats and inviting the crowd (much to the dislike of the venues) on stage to jam with them.Theres really no telling what they will do next. CTS is great at giving you more to watch than just four guys jamming on stage. Although through the years some orginal members have went their seperate ways the foundation they helped create will always remain in the music. Feel free to drop CTS a comment or a message anytime. We would love any comments or just drop us a line to say hey.
