Founded in 2002, BANSHEE is a band offering Melodic Metal influenced by the various styles of this kind, an explosive mix between Symphony and Power of Extreme Metal, or a match between Heavy and Gothic.
Implied in the French Melodic Metal world, BANSHEE created the ACDM group, putting together famous names of French Metal as HEADLINE, PENUMBRA, ALKEMYST, MYLIDIAN, MIDWINTER, ANACHRONIA, and many others… (www.acdm-forum.wb.st).
Strengthened by positive critics, BANSHEE completes its line up with a woman’s voice for their first maxi-Cd recording, carried out in MELODY STUDIO with Didier CHESNEAU (Headline, Magic Kingdom, Misanthrope, Invictus, Sweet Silence, Mylidian, ).
BANSHEE’s first studio recording, called “Birth of a Legend†has been released on June 21, 2006. Then, BANSHEE played in opening of AFTER FOREVER and improved its play on stage day after day.
Thinking of many new projects, BANSHEE is now working on its first album, to be ready for the end of 2007!!
