Symphony performed and composed by Renee Summer- Rain featured on Ras Kwame’s bbc1xtra radio.Renée Summer-Rain, an RnB vocalist and songwriter, was born in London and after living two years on the Spanish island of Palma de Mallorca has returned back to London.
She performs her songs with a sensual spirit reaching essence.
She has been developing her live performance, with original songs, along with contemporary RnB covers and Jazz standards. Her aim at this point is to perform live in order to present her own songs to a new audience, with the intention of building a following for her own music. Renée is a solo artist and accompanies herself on piano.She also works well with live bands and has performed in London with Roots Manuover. Renée is concentrating on a professional career in music, after having completed a music degree. Her time is spent composing, teaching as a vocal coach and performing. She is a classically trained pianist, and has had a background in singing with choirs. As a choir member Renée has performed at the Royal Albert Hall (London) and the Barbican (London). She has also been trained in ballet and more recently modern dance.
Renée is currently writing and producing songs, with the intention of securing a publishing contract and licensing, some of her songs for film and T.V. She will be producing a Mixtape later this year. She collaborates with other songwriters, from different genres and relishes feedback from others in the music industry. She has had a lot of response, offers and interest from various publishing companies in the UK and is yet to secure the right licensing deal for her.Renée has received lots of encouragement from other musicians, who have heard her perform. She is constantly requested to perform with them and to work in the studio on their tracks. Her live performances on the island of Mallorca have been, society parties and high-level venues.
After finishing the tour in Ibiza in the Tribute Band to the ’Supremes’ she is now back in the UK working on her music and collaborating with the likes of Sample Thief, Cinematic, KNG Soundz, Nemisis, Attacca Pesante, Rhymestein, Weapon X, Black and many more.
