Add to My Profile | More Videos J Woods and MikeY FlixxX...Two well known names in Flushing Queens. This Duo gained recognition in the neighborhood and in the Borough Of Queens in the early part of 2000. Mike Flixxx, an Armenian born and JJ Woods of an Albanian decent decided to form The Double A (Armenian/ Albanian) Family, which would represent both nations, Flushing Side of the Queens Borough, New York City and the Hip-Hop Movement as a whole. JJ started out as a battle-rapper, who quickly established himself in the early stages of the game. Flixxx was inspired by Js skill and rawness and soon jumped into the rap scene with his own unique rap techniques. The chemistry between the two off and on the mic was undeniable. The Dub A Family remained underground and local for 3 years. In the early 2003, the A-Alikes J and Mike decided to record and release a mix tape, which ultimately gained success locally and nationwide. Three additions were made to the AA Fam in 2005, Martyr, G-Jon and Vanity the First Lady of the AA, all out of Detroit, Michigan but Flushing Queens natives. The two brothers and sister brought versatility and a different flavor to the group. The skill of this Albanian Family is unquestionable. Currently the Dub A Family is working on truly establishing themselves in the Hip-Hop Community throughout the world. Theyve combined their flags, cultures and familiar struggles and experiences coming up in New York and Detroit. The combination is murder. The essence and true nature of rap is due for a resurrection in the 2007. The Double A coming to the stores around your way
