Hope to see EVERYONE there!!!This is what it's like to CRUISE TO LOSE!MOST RECENT - SEPTEMBER, 2008AND OCTOBER, 2007..THIS IS MARK B. INCREDIBLE TALENT!Who, me? Well, I am 47 yars old, mom of two beautiful adult daughters (Tina & Amanda), mom-in-law to the BEST son-in-law in the universe (Randy), and proud grandma of my sweet baby Jacob! I am blessed to have Greg, the BEST partner in love and life by my side!I was born in Lake County, Illinois (just north of Chicago - GO BEARS!) where I lived until just before my 30th birthday, when my husband, children (then aged 7 and 9) and I moved to Florida. Unfortunately, God decided that he needed Tony, my husband, a little more than we did, because on September 25, 1991, He called Tony home, leaving the three of us heartbroken. We got through it though (you NEVER get "over" that type of loss), and we have again managed to be a very happy and healthy family.I am also blessed to have my best friend, Cindy in my life. We have been friends since we were 9 years old! Do the math - that is a LONG, TRUE friendship - something that does not come along every day! I have a beautiful, wonderful, FABULOUS host of many friends who are like family to me. Being "alone" or "lonely" is not a concern, and for that, I am again, blessed! My extended family includes my two older sisters and brothers-in-law, MANY nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins not to mention Greg's terrific parents (BEST in-laws a girl could ask for!), sibs, nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles - you get the rosey picture!Together, Greg and I built Ruby Cruises, our travel agency from the ground up. Lots of "blood, sweat and tears" but worth every single second. We love to cruise, and we cruise often. When not cruising and working, we enjoy spending time in the Colorado Rockies. No place like it on earth, and it is where I feel most comfortable and "at home". Did you ever set foot in a particular place and just feel the "Ahhhhhhhh"? That's me and Colorado! We are also the proud "parents" of Beaureguard Bocephus Bleu (aka Beau) and Benjamin Buford Bleu (aka Ben), our two Labs! Beau is Yellow and Benny is Black. They are joined by Tico, our Umbrella Cockatoo, and Tom, our Cockateil. Believe it or not, I also have two "grand-doggies" Cody (a Shepherd/Staffordshire mix) and Brutus, a Boston Terrier with a Pit Bull attitude!I drive a 2005 Black Cadillac STS and Greg drives his Porsche 944 Turbo. When Greg drives, we make Miami in under 4 hours! That's typically at least a 6 hour drive! LOLThrough the wonders of modern medicine, not to mention the very skilled hands of my surgeon, I have managed to lose 135 pounds! Can you believe it? I can't! I have struggled with obesity my ENTIRE life, and when I look in the mirror, I can't see a "true" vision of myself - Greg has to take a picture and show me - don't ask me why, but for whatever reason, it is the only way I can visualize the true "me". And for the first time in over 47 years, I LOVE what I see, so, "GO ME!!" It has been a LONG, HARD tow, and do not think for one single second that this journey has been easy. I HAVE to count every single gram of protein (minimum of 60 grams per day), every single calorie (between 800 & 1,000), gram of carbs (NEVER more than 40) and grams of fat(30 at the most) RELIGIOUSLY. I will do this for the rest of my life, but the trade off is, I HAVE a life! Thank you, Jesus! In my (ha-ha) "spare" time, I write professionally. I am currently working on my latest book, and hope to have it published soon!I enjoy reading, horse back riding, zip-lining!, mountain hiking, camping, dancing, listening to music, travelling, and of course writing! Most of all, I love being around my family and friends. What can I say....LIFE IS GOOD, INDEED!

by John Prine and Bonnie RaittI am an old woman
Named after my mother
An old man is another
Child whos grown oldIf dreams were thunder
Lightning was desire
This old house it wouldve burned down
A long time agoMake me an angel
That flies from montgomery
Make me a poster
Of an old rodeo
Just give me one thing
That I can hold on to
To believe in this livin
Is just a hard way to goWhen I was a young girl
I had me a cowboy
It wasnt much to look at
It was a free ramblin man
There was a long time
No matter how I tried
The years they just rolled by
Like a broken down danceMake me an angel
That flies from montgomery
Make me a poster
Of an old rodeo
Just give me one thing
That I can hold on to
To believe in this livin
Is just a hard way to goTheres flies in the kitchen
I can hear them there buzzin
And I aint done nothing since I woke up today
But how the hell can a person
Go on to work in the morning
To come home in the evening
And have nothing to sayMake me an angel
That flies from montgomery
Make me a poster
Of an old rodeo
Just give me one thing
That I can hold on to
To believe in this livin
Is just a hard way to go
