I'm an adventure man... No Mt. is to high and no valley is too low. God is my Shepherd!!! I have done my fair share of falling, backsliding, and asking for God's help. For the past 10 months I have been attending a Christian based Recovery group called "Celebrate Recovery". At first I was hesitant, after all I didn't really need help... I could do it on my own. (Not True) I continued to stumble, and repeatedly found myself desperately grasping toward everything I knew was or recognized as God. I got my "God fix" when I went to Church every Sunday and when I hit that low or high that I turned to reading His Word "The Bible". Since I found myself at that low or high place so often I found myself getting to know Gods Word O so well, to the point where I would come out of just such a dark place. On a night December I instead of turning to the substances that had made me need God, I put them aside and turned to the Almighty. I rededicated my life to Him and dedicated myself to serving Him in every way I could, till the day I would kneel before Him in Heaven! God had known my heart and He had known exactly where and when He would change my life. He purposefully led me to join the Celebrate Recovery group so that I would have the support I would need. My Celebrate Recovery group didn't just leave me when the class was over It's like God led us together to be each others friends and accountability partners. They continued to pray for me as I went through my withdrawals and got myself to where I am now... WoW God Is Good!!! He is the reason I am here today! Praise Him!!! I am continuing to attend The Celebrate Recovery Program, go Missions Trip(s) one to (Guatemala on 05-26-2007) one to (Mexico on 07-28-2007). Serving The Lord is a Passion, "Praise The Lord" etc... and now I have just been accepted as a 212 leader and I hold the position of Youth Director for the youth!!! God is working in ways not always seen...Everyone struggles,Everyone falls,Everyone needs refreshed! If you would like a helping hand, I highly recommend attending Celebrate Recovery. (Applause.) That is a tried- and-true formula. (Laughter.) The problem is government is not good at changing hearts. But people like John Baker has been good about it and successful doing that.
