About Me

My name is Kjell, just like the Display Name displays. I play various styles of music, but love heavier sounding stuff and 80’s-esque solos. I generally record through a Line 6 (for now) and will use a compressor built by Deric Dobesh (www.bigfootmusic.com). My main axe is an Ernie Ball Musicman, John Petrucci series guitar. For acoustic, I favor my Takamine cedar-top (EAN10CX). If you want to know anything else about my recording and/or methods/equipment used, feel free to ask. I’m currently recording on my own, and everything on this site is 100% my doing in every way unless I note otherwise (I’d post a blog about it). I’d love to meet other musicians and swap recording ideas and tips or just guitar playing ideas. I’m always wanting to learn something from anyone else who can teach me something. I don’t have any shows posted because I’m working at Ecola Bible School in Cannon Beach, OR right now and will hopefully join up with or form a band someday. I hear there’s alot of musicians in Portland, and I’m headed there in May; we’ll see.
