[email protected]'m a grassroots organization way up in the ARCTIC. You may have known me in my baby days as "Dene Youth Alliance" and until recently, the "Arctic Indigenous Youth Alliance." However, times have changed. I've moved on, I'm getting older and more people need me, so now I am the Arctic Indigenous Alliance.I like to have youth summits, and go to gatherings where I tell people to "pass the gas." I also like to learn my language and other ancient skillz, such as moosehair tufting, making dry meat/fish, pickin' berries, making "indian" medicine, all while tanning a mean hide.My mandate:
Through the Arctic INdigenous Alliance, the people of the Western Arctic demand human rights and sustainable communities. Arctic Indigenous Alliance works to strengthen, honour and protect our heritage which is rooted in the inseparable health of our people and our land.
