After spending 14 years in the military around the world, I moved to Dallas to be closer to my kids and spent 8 yrs in film/television/stage production as a cameraman, lighting tech, audo tech, grip, stagehand, writer and director (local TV/film/theater, MTV, ESPN, COURT-TV, etc.), I worked on the Hispanic Televisions nationally syndicated variety show, Un Todo De Poco," was a grip on PINK, a 1998 Martin Scorsese Award winning short, provided lighting and audio for HOT HAIR, a 1999 Dallas Video Festival short entry, and lighting/grip on the IT TAKES A VILLAGE trailer. I am most proud of fulfilling a life goal of producing/directing a documentary on the Latino Theatre summer children's theater program, "CAST." Moving to SC to be closer to my kids (again), I left that life behind and finally entered the mundane, 9-5, soul sucking corporate world....just for the steady paycheck and health insurance....really! After moving with my company to Tampa, FL, I realized one strip mall community is like another, but at least here there are plenty of beaches, bars and women here to make it tolerable :-)
