About Me

Dontrelle was born December 14, 1990 in Oakland, California. He’s the youngest of 3. His family has been in music for years. His mother and sisters used to song in the church and talent shows. Dontrelle has always been around music but really didn’t get involved in music until 2007. Jesus Gonzales was somebody who taught Dontrelle a lot about the music and was also he’s best friend. In April of 2007 Dontrelle produced and co-wrote a song for Jesus that started to get a lot of buzz around the school they were going to but later that year Jesus sold the song and all the rights to a group in Atlanta, GA.Dontrelle started to produce music for his friend Jesus and also started writing and producing for other artist. Jesus and Dontrelle were starting to make a name for themselves. In May of 2008 Jesus died in a car accident on his way to school in Los Angeles. After hearing the bad news Dontrelle wanted to finish Jesus’s album. He lost a friend, a music partner, and a brother. Dontrelle had to move on and has worked with up and coming in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.He believes that he’s one the hardest working producer/songwriter in the game. Right now he’s currently working on a few projects for some of your favorite artist. He also is working on one of his artist Young Pete. “I look forward to working with up and coming artist like myself and I can’t wait to change the game because I feel like I’m the next big thing.” He’s only 18 years young and he’s seen and been threw a lot and music is his future, life, and passion. He does music for the love not money and that’s what sets him aside from most of the rappers and producer.
