Bzoink - The Original Survey Site..I am an "Army Brat" born in Illinois but raised in many different states. I attended Hazelwood Central High School in Forissant, Missouri during which time I was a memebr of the Positive Student Leadership Club (PSLT) and the French Club. During my Junior year, I was selected to be a state finalist in the American Coed Pageant for the state of Missouri. I went on to compete in Kansas City, MO and althought I did not win, it was an exciting an challenging opportunity. After graduation in 1993, I joined the U. S. Navy for 4 years (following someone who is very close to me). During my time in, I attended and graduated from 2 training schools, received a Nation Defense Service Metal, 2 Meritorius Unit Commendation pins, as well as a Good Conduct Medal and a Letter of Appreciation for several volunteer positions held before being honorably discharged in 1997. Since then, I have aqcuired a degree in Medical Assisting & one Healthcare Management. During my time in college, I was the Editor/Writer for the school paper, I won the Editor's Choice Award for outstanding achievement in poetry, I was the coordinator for National Medical Assistant's Week, and gave the closing remarks for the Bachelor's Degree Ceremony in 2005. I will be starting my graduate degree program in the fall of 2007 at the University of Massachusetts. I now have 2 children. My youngest, a boy, Damian (Boogie)-4 years old and a girl, Jasmine (Pudd)-9 years old. I hold several titles-a mother, a sailor, and a healthcare worker...in that order. My interest include music, movies, camping, fishing, football, bike riding, travel, & spending time with my friends/family. I also adore vampires, dragons & tigers! My one true love is reading & writing poetry. I spend a few hours a day just laying my thoughts on paper.
