Me, and my musical soul mate August go back a long time, pretty much as long as possible. From the same street (the pond of fortunes) in the village Fredensborg, Denmark, we did all we could to be the cool gang in town, playing hand ball, organizing parties, staying up late, being generally confused and starting bands. One band, Kafmaroc (psychedelic rock lead by Esben Tjalve- the Ray Manzarek of Fredensborg), lasted a good few years.Moving to Copenhagen changed things around a bit. More musical impulses, more musicians, just more I guess. It all got a bit jazzy after a while and most of us took off to London to study lots and lots of notes. In between the jazz, Ag and I experimentet with electronic sounds in our muso collective in Hackney. We did some recording under the name 'Loop Ad. Lib.' and a tour of south Spain, I think.
The post college years took us back to our rockier roots and we both played in the band blooq, lead by all time great muso JQ (now Triggerbox-myspace.com/triggerbox). The last couple of years have seen us both move in slight different directions. Ag is spending most of his time producing trax for the dance floor, dj'ing, remixing and writing beautiful ambient tunes, while I'm drumming away with Triggerbox and noodling with tunes and lyrics in my attic. This summer we decided to put our ears together in our old hometown and demo a few tunes. My singing sister lent us a bit of her beautiful voice, thax sis!
