About Me

I'm posh, I'm a tomboy, I'm rock and roll, and I'll always be a little bit punk at heart. I live for NYC and live on a farm, and those are the only two places I'll ever call home. I can find my way around Manhattan and all the best bars and haunts as well as I can find my way around 30 acres and a bunch of horses. I have a better English accent than you (and that's posh too). I smile a lot, I live to ride - jumpers mostly, I always look on the brightside - well almost anyway! And I live for October.
I think too much, care too much, write too much, talk too much, and say too much. But I am perfect in my own way.
Friends and family are the most important things to me, and my animals are my family as much as the people in my life are.
I am passionate, intense, caring, and strong. I am a believer, and I am scared, and stronger than you think but weaker than I'll ever let you know. I believe in unicorns, I wish on stars, and I know that where there is a will, there is a way. I have the attention span of a ferret, I like trucks, shiny horse trailers, and living on a farm near the city. I'm a little bit of everything that you want me to be, but still so uniquely me.

My Interests

Helping as many animals as possible in the world. Getting to the Grand Prix Show Jumping level (on our way...). Getting another cow pony and getting back into team penning and cutting. And trying to keep the website for my barn updated - check it out at www.ewa-tlcstables.com

Music:

At heart I'll always be a punk girl with a little bit of country and a whole bit of rock n' roll. The Killers, Brand New (is better than Taking Back Sunday but I like them too), Say Anything, OK Go!, Less Than Jake, AEROSMITH, Train, Jimmy Eat World. Obscure bands like the Eels, and Uncle Kraker, and songs like Girl From Mars, Funny Little Feeling, and then good old rock and roll like Default. I also like The Wreckers, Tim McGraw, old school Shania, JoDee Messina, Dixie Chicks, and that sorta thing, oh and I like Lisa Marie Presley. Rock on.

Movies:

Sleepy Hollow - fave movie ever, bar none. Reservoir Dogs, Boondock Saints, Clerks, Pulp Fiction, Sweet Home Alabama, To Live and Die in L.A., Say Anything, The Importance of Being Earnest, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Grinch (Jim Carey rocks in that), Practical Magic, Ever After, Moulin Rouge, Can't Buy Me Love, and many more that I can't think of now! Oooooooh - how can I forget! Indiana Jones - the complete boxed set!!!! Go Indy!!!! (Last Crusade was the best.)

Television:

Dukes of Hazzard hahahahah! Gilmore Girls, CSI and Law and Order (SVU is best), Sopranos, and hoping that Carnivale comes back...

Books:

Catcher in the Rye. JK - I just had to say that b/c it seems that every celebrity when asked what their favorite book is that's what they say. Really though I liked King's Oak and Bred to Win. And my fave writer of all time is Melville - NOT Moby Dick though. The Piazza.

Heroes:

Ian Miller and Big Ben for being the inspiration to my goals today. Secretariat just because of who he was. Dark Secret - heart, stamina, and the ultimate sacrifice. Julie Krone - guts and determination. Me. I want to always be my own hero.
