..Young Sparkz
Jimmie Thompson was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. With a fond love for music since childhood, “Young Sparkz†listened to artist like Notorious B.I.G, Jay-Z, The Lox and Big Punisher. “I use to always say to myself, I wish I could rap just like them.†It was then at age 15 “Young Sparkz†became introduced to the rap game. “I started out free styling at my cousin's house, out of no where. (Young Sparkz stated.)†“Everybody went crazy, I thought it was corny, but everybody liked it. My cousin told me I should start taking rapping seriously, because she felt I had what it takes to be a real MC.â€
In 2000 “Young Sparkz†relocated to Riverside New York. Upon his arrival he met a producer by the name of Killa Trackz, who also admired “Young Sparkz†style. In 2002 Killa Trackz established a production group called “Da Zombeez,†which would later became the record label Zombee Gang Entertainment LLC co founded with his uncle Rashon “Dough†Draffin. In 2004 “Young Sparkz†became an original member of “Da Zombeez.â€
His everyday life, and lady catered flows can be heard on various mix tapes produced by “Da Zombeez†in both the past and present day, including the newest mix tape titled “The Condemned†released in February of 2009.
