Good Day, Treemakers,
Hope this finds you all in the best of spirits.
This has been a banner year for GodCorp, we showed robust growth in the last quarter and the seeds for future growth have been sown.
This years' sales team brought in 138,000,000 new accounts, which is a very good year for us. Kudos to those treemakers that closed multiple accounts: Job, son of Issachar; Ganeesh; and Mike Gryzinski.
On our third quarter conference call in early June, management updated investors on the many initiatives underway at the Corporation to accelerate this return to profitability. As detailed in last quarter's newsletter, the initiatives fall into two categories: right-sizing the past through the consolidation of worship facilities and the phase out of non-core or unprofitable faith lines; and investing in our future through M&A to expand our market opportunity or strengthen our market position.
We received great news from The Divinity Board as they accepted Chuck Hemmings, our Executive Director of Global Divinty Outreach, to a seat on the Divinity Council. This is the most respected entity in this area and Chuck's participation on the Council will add credibility to our efforts in this realm and also provide us with access to a wealth of information that will make us all a little better.
I had the pleasure of spending a few hours sharing my vision with 17 of the 40 new Account Managers while they were training in Boise. I was very impressed with their enthusiasm and their talent, and I extended offers to the twelve individuals applying for our twelve open Regional Manager positions. If they accept, we'll have every Regional Manager position filled in time for the Mid-Year Training and Development Conference at the end of the month.
Talent is what we sell, and we've added some strength to our talent mix. And, at the conference, we'll all share ideas and learn the latest and greatest technologies that will make us a little better in our quest for perfection. It's one of the things that differentiates us from our competitors and one of the reasons why we are the number one provider of quality faithful care in our industry. We're moving from a belief system agency to that of a Belief Consultancy Practice.
