Greek mythology and Shakespearen plays never grow old in my eyes. I have a bit of an affinity for shoes and accessories. I am constantly people watching and craving mashed potatoes. I notice tattoos, cool shirts and fun hair on others. I guess I should say I am interested in the 'details' I love the little things that make any object or person look or feel special.

I am not going to lie. I have a love affair with t.v. Shows like Miami Ink, CSI, What not to Wear, Law and Order, Oprah, Rockstar, America's Next Top Model and Project Runway are all guilty pleasures.
I hlove to read information, fiction an dnon-fiction. Gregory Maguire's retold fairy tales like : 'Wicked- The lIfe and times of the Wiked Witch of the West' and 'Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister' are an awesome way to spend time. Alisa Grace, The Handmaid's Tale, The Mists of Avalon, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, In praise of slow, Reviving Ophelia, CIty of Glass, Microserfs, any 'Idiots guide to __________' and anything from my favorite textbook of all time: Adventures in English Literature. Books are a beautiful way to entertain yourself and allow your brain to grow and make connections -- those connections will keep you alert as you age and enrich your experience as a human in this multimedia world. There are literary references all over the media, pick up a book and you might recognize a few!
I hope that all of you have a mother that is worthy of being in this section because my mom certainlly is the most important lady in my life! Other personal heros would be Rosa Parks, Madonna, Margaret Atwood, The Wiked Witch of the West, my friends Alisa, ALison, and Misty for each having the strength to find a passion and persue it.
