About Me

Welcome to Mc Sweet's music MySpace. I Am a Mc/Rapper who spits out lyrics over the Dance music genre's of Bassline, 4x4, Grime, 2Step, DubStep & HipHop. I Have been dabbing in the music since 2001 where I first started Dj'ing to various types of UkGarage and Grime. I Played on a few Internet Radio Stations (Mostly noted for DZireFm & KrushFm) under the alias of Dj Sweet-FA. In 2004 I Met a Mc called PhatZ who began being my regular Host, appearing on my shows. During this time I changed my music genre to Bassline & Organ House (Niche) and got to note that I was gettin abuse for this at the time because it was new to the music scene. 2005, I Decided to spit lyrics and vocals alongside Mc PhatZ because I had always been a fan of hosting a show rather than concentrating on the mixing, So began the search for a Dj. Dj Major (Or back then Majestic) took the role as main Dj when Tee-Total Family (My Click) Formed, and I stayed as a Mc, Changing my name to Sweet. Since then we have stuck to Bassline and it is soon to be dominating the Dance scene as the leading Dance genre of its time. Although Bassline being my main genre of music to perform in, I Am recording a album for release in January 09 which includes me experimenting with Grime, DubStep & HipHop. Since Mc'ing I have played at various venue's and radio's, mc'd for some big names including Dj Sus (From Riplash & Sus / Juicy Joints), Dj GS (Northern Line Records) + More. Played on the same bill as names such as Mc Vapour, Mc Creed, Mc PSG, Special Mc, Jamieson, Mc Viper, Dj Mike Ruff Cut Lioyd, Mc Rankin, Dj Pied Piper, Mc KIE, Dj BDM & Ender MC (U.S.F), Dj B.O.D, Dj Makka, Mc Spanish Fly, Mc Stallion, Mc Sel, Mc Official + More.
Every so often you can catch me on Sunday night from 11.00pm (23.00) with my Tee-Total Family on the South-East leading Pirate Station: Force 106.5Fm / www.ForceFm.net, I Used to do this every week but because of work and recording of this Album I have taken a little time out instead of working my ass to the ground. Keep eyes peeled for when I Will be back 100% In January 09.
I Am currently working on putting together some tunes displaying my adaptability on other types of genre's. Please feel free to download and comment on my tracks that I put in the music player above. I Have done loads of stations, but mostly noted for my doings on KrushFM (NET), DZireFM (NET) & Force 106.5 FM (RADIO). I Have done lots and various gigs and clubs around, but my selected choice where I have enjoyed playing at were INFERNO (Circus Tavern, Purfleet, Essex), HEATWAVE (Pacific Edge, Romford, Essex), SUGAR (Pacific Edge, Romford, Essex).

Band Members: Sweet is one third of a little click called Tee-Total Family which include the Dj Major & The Mc PhatZ and majority of his set's, show's and performances are with these 2. Influences: Many things have influences on Sweet with his lyric's and music. Growing up in the town Of Tilbury (Essex) for the majority of his life, he makes sure to let everybody know of his roots and the mushrooms that grow in his boots. Tilbury is South-East as South-East gets in the UK, Its on the Thames River and was the first town that deported criminals to Australia back in the day.
Respect has to be paid to the people he uses in his chats, such as friends and family. Hes proud of his back-up in the relations department. With a brother to look up to and family to live up for he knows that slacking aint even on the agenda. From talking about his best man doing lines from the back of a robin reliant to chatting about the latest headlines in the newspaper.
Trying to get people to relate to his music has become something that people accomplish quickly whilst listening to Sweet. On his toes too quickly adapt at whats going down at the time in the Urban World hes always on top of his game and he puts this down to having a large amount of accomplished Dj's to always do sets with him for the large amount of practise Sweet puts in.
People in the game that have influenced Sweet as artists have been the likes of legendary veteran UkG Mc Creed, Lady Sovereign, The Streets, Mc Riddles, Mc Tonik, Mc PhatZ & Many people that have just been in the scene and doing this music because they love it.
