Internationally-known comedian, musician and actor Arthur Demoine Kinney IV, is overwhelming audiences everywhere with his straight-forward style of comedy staged with beautiful sounds as he plays his saxophone. A native of Dillon, SC, Demoine, professionally known as Deacon D, has performed at local, national and international comedy clubs and events. His style is inspired by Redd Foxx, Mark Curry and Earthquake. Ironically, has had the opportunity to perform with Mark Curry and Earthquake. In addition, Deacon D has opened up for Dave Chappelle, James Stephens III, Mark Stroham and Ryan Singer, to name a few. Another memorable accomplishment for Deacon D was the opportunity to host “The LT. Dan Band Show” with the USO at Ramstein AFB, Germany where Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump, CSI NY, Of Mice and Men and Apollo 13) and Kimo Williams (Guitarist) were the headliners. Deacon D has hosted countless shows at Ramstein AFB, Germany including a series of “Grown Folks Night” events, “Just Keepin’ it Real” and “Def Poetry”. He also hosted “Grown and Sexy Night” in K Town, Germany. Other shows include NASIC’s Holiday Party, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, performances at The Funny Bone in Dayton, OH, Crackers Comedy Club in Indianapolis, IN and “Night under the Stars”, sponsored by Covenant Methodist Church in Springfield, OH.Deacon D writes his own material and has recently introduced three new characters to his audience, Mrs. Cathereen Johnson, Deacon Can’t Get Right and Reverend Sunday. He has produced the following projects starring these characters: “Mrs. Johnson Gospel Comedy Rap Session”, “The Gospel Comedy Experience” (I & II) and “Life’s Lessons According to Mrs. Johnson”.At the age of 24 and fulfilling his love for music, Deacon D and his saxophone easily captures diverse crowds with ambitious notes, dedicated tones and smooth vibes. Aside from serving his country in the Air Force, Deacon D devotes countless time to serving in music ministries at various church organizations throughout Ohio. Deacon D currently performs at Chapel 3, New Seasons Ministry, Mocha Soul Lounge and Christian Fellowship Ministries in Dayton, OH. He is an active performer with Mrs. Cherry Washington of Dayton, OH, and Mr. Eldridge Coats, a member of the Premium Blend Band. He has also played alongside Cherry Washington in her pre-release project at Revival Center Ministries in Dayton, OH.Deacon D has achieved equal fame on internet radio and behind the camera. He hosts a weekly segment on Myspace/Rappcity Radio, the Broken to Virtuous Radio Show and WIN 106.3 Funny Friday’s. He has been casted in several films including “Cincinnati 29”, “Church on Green Street” and most recently in “Men of Steel”. Recognized for his multiple talents, Deacon D was handpicked, alongside American Idol Finalist Anthony Federov, to judge the USAFE Idol, sponsored by the USAFE Band (Touch and Go) and 435 Services.To add to his never-ending list of tasks, Deacon D, along with Tae “Bad Boy Jr.” Smith, founded Deacon D Entertainment, LLC in December 2005.
