I'm a guitar teacher in Anaheim, California. Students are granted a one week vacation, quarterly. Unless they agree to change my strings. I have Fender and Marshall amps from 1975 and 1978, unreliable to the last. For my insistence on using them, it is a truism that I richly deserve their frequent onstage malfunctions. Unless one considers that I only infrequently perform onstage. Then it becomes debatable just how often my gear actually tanks. The main thing is, we just got our house painted. I'm survived by my lovely wife Rae and our beloved daughter, Leilani.
