About Me

Hi my name is Charly, also known to as Charlene to my parents! I'm a huge fan of music... especially Country Music! I grew up listening up to a lot of Patsy Cline, but it wasn't until I started going to the festivals that I fell in love with Country music. Then one saturday good 'old George from the Norfolk Showground gave me the chance to play a few songs on his showcase session... and thats where it all started!!Last year I completed my first album. A majority of tracks were recorded at Ashwood Studios. There the guys done a fantastic job of laying down the tracks. Also included, where some tracks recorded by Stuart Payne, who many of you will know from Side Winder.Since I started going to the Country festivals, I have met some fantastic people like Henry Smith, Boomer McLennan & Billy Bubba King. They've been really supportive and have given me some top advice! So thanks for all your help guys! Also I've had the best parents who have done everything they can to help me.. including trekking half way down the country to get me to gigs!!!Anyways I'm currently taking a break from the circuit but please check back for news and updates!!!!! Best wishesCharly x*Hingham Country Music Festival- Aug '07*PLEASE take a moment to sign my Guest Map.... I love seeing where all my visitors are from!!! x x x x x x
