About Me

Made up of five friends in the Bellingham music scene (back in the day), the Toga Kings entertained audiences with their unique version of garage rock classic, always while wearing togas and usually while too drunk to play. At times it was genius, other times it was awful... but it was a good time.After an 8 year "hiatus," the band is back for a special 3 song set to be played at the Double Crown 10th Anniversary party on September 16.This time, the boys will be wearing real togas instead of bed sheets and have made a vow to "not get SO drunk." We'll see...Update... Not everone was too drunk to play. Thanks to Johny Bartlett of the Phantom Surfers and Barbary Coasters for joing us on sax for Louie Louie (live).
