Introducing Kera, the first lady of Dropzone Entertainment. Kera has plans to become the industries 2007 most prominent rising star.Kera was born Shakera Lavonne Bailey on June 14, 1980 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania . To escape the fast pace city life, at age 11 her family moved to Virginia . Realizing early on her singing forte, in high school Kera began to record and sing back up for local groups. But that was not enough to keep Kera from moving back to Philadelphia after graduation. In the midst of moving back home, Kera was introduced to an all girl group who had recently lost two of their members. After auditioning at a family barbeque, she was welcomed into the group with opened arms. Unfortunately there was a lack of chemistry and a few months later the group and Kera parted ways.
