This daring band has no boundaries, and fears no musical genera. The ever evolving sound and line up at Alien Anarchists has already put out 4 full length albums and is currently working on number 5 tentatively titled “Priapismâ€
Their first mixed tape was an experimental spoken word/Jug band, rave up, called “Instinctual Driftâ€.
The band’s next cd “live for the day†took on more of a drunken, folk/punk feel.
AA’s 3rd record titled “Uncle Daddy†incorporated more drums, faster time signatures and elements of hip hop and metal. A song from this album was “Sadistic†a song that can best be described as a Freudian punk/folk/metal fusion that caught the attention of 94.7 hits fm DJ Java Joel who used the song on his show.
This radio play greatly increased the visibility of this group. Alien Anarchists did not let this attention stop them in their creative pursuits.
The band went back to work right away and came out with their next release
“Ear-revisable Complexity†that was completely different then anything the band had done before, 10 tracks of experimental, instrumental, electronic tunes.
Alien Anarchists made 3 videos from their instrumental electronic catalog. The video “Faces†featuring the song “how does it feel†and the ish crew, a video was also made for the song “the good old days start today†which was titled “Zuki†after the dog that stars in it and the most popular Alien Anarchists video to date “Hey Hey†filmed on location in hawaii. also check out the fun animated video for “Electricâ€. Also, have your eyes open for more videos shortly.
