THE ALMIGHTY CHURCH OF PIZZA: Just Die! Blog!

In the beginning, we were Steve, Dave, Matt, Nate, and Joey. From then until now, the members of Just Die! have always been from different parts of the country.
Having found ourselves (and each other) in the mountains of North Carolina in Fall 2006, we recorded a demo. We traveled around the South East in a van called CHAMP and played numerous shows.
After Joey left for California in Fall 2007, we hired Jordan to fill the low-end.
We put together a 13 song CD and recorded it in late 2007. June 12th, 2008 saw the official release of the album, No Time For Poetry, through Dead End Records.
We bought a van named RICK in preparation for our first ever tour. We hit the road in June 2008 for two weeks in support of the album and dubbed it the "WATCH YOUR SPEED, CHIEF" Tour.
The next month, Nate also made his home on the West Coast. In lieu of finding and training a 2nd guitarist, we decided to move on as a 4 piece.
Currently, we are Steve, Dave, Matt, and Jordan.
Our upcoming 7", Friend or Foe?, is in the process of being written and will be released through They Shoot Records in Fall 2008.
