MARVIN CHIN "THE GIRLS DEM DARLIN"(SLOGAN)
I was born in the 70"s at St.Andrew "uptown Kingston",on the beautiful island of Jamaica. After years of traveling back and forth between parents, I now reside in the United States.(yeah i went to live with mommy because I am a mommas boy)I have had the love for music for as long as i can remember.My father had some 45's and lp's(vynil),that i used to mess with when he wasn't home.His collection included Reggae,souls,disco and pop music.While attending prep school,I did some performing arts which prepared me to perform in front of a crowd.In high school(JA),it was all about fame and your image.Those were the days of hip hop break dancing.YES I used to dance and still can(lol).It was in first form(7th grade) that i started to play at parties.We had a yearly event called interform,where classrooms competed in various events.My teacher asked for volunteers to bring a radio for our class party, and i did.I borrowed my uncle's boom box and his tapes to do my first gig(lol)(memories).He had the type with a turntable,microphone, and detachable speakers,so i set it up like a real big sound.By far our classroom shut down the whole school and a star was born.A professional DJ friend from the hood(R.I.P),showed me how to mix on two turntables.I used to play early for him,then go home when it got late,because i was underage.He also showed me the technical work about sound systems.When I decided to stay in America,I lived in(Plantation) Fort Lauderdale,Florida.On my musical journey,I have also been a member of two soundsystems,however, it did not workout out because of differences and interests(badmind).So I played as "Marvin Chin the girls dem darlin" on radio stations,nightclubs,and dancehalls.I have had offers to play on top ten sounds in the world,but declined.I didnt want to be back in certain situations.I have used Primetime Promotions to do shows over the years and recently I decided to come out with PRIMETIME SOUND.I have gained years of experience in juggling and clash dances,so lets see where it takes me and the other members."SPREAD THE WORD THERE IS A NEW SOUND AND THE NAME IS PRIMETIME".

It was 19 seventy-something when the "WORM" wiggled into the world(lol).Kingston,St.Andrew,Jamaica was the birthplace...Portmore,St.Catherine was my hometown..Back then I was Messing with cassette players and even clashing with the good old walkman..(WHAT U KNOW ABOUT THAT???)It helped develop my crazy love for music..I'm not too sure how"MARVIN CHIN" came up with the name "WORM",but eversince he recruited me,we've been a force to be reckoned with...After mastering the art of mixing on the turntables,we started wreckin' house parties and other events..The dancehall,stageshows and nightclubs was a whole different ball game,but with the JIGGAMAN as the MC,it was a wrap..The PRIMETIME SOUND ENTERPRISE is the new versatile entertainment group that's bound for stardom!!!!
