In the summer of 2006, ronan played a ten week friday residency in pete's place. a chic little cafe in martha's vinyeard that when the sun goes down it sheds its chic suit to become an intimate club, in which the patrons were treated to weekly 4hr sets of genre busting music. music from every decade, all twisting and turning, woven thru jiggy upbeat house music. all with love. the soundtrack to a summer of decadence and mischief on one of the most beutiful islands on the planet.

In just over three years he has also shared the same line ups as artists diverse as Peace division, Lee Coombs, Groove armada, LTJ Bukem, Jupiter Ace, Lexicon avenue, Corvin Dalek, Sister Bliss, Psycatron, Lottie, Mauro Picotto, Sander Klienenberg, Fergie and Futureshock, with regular appearances at clubs across northern Ireland including deep fried funk and inertia in Derry, Pirate radio in Belfast and beatscience in Portstewart, not to mention regular bi-minthly guest slots since 2002 in Irelands finest club Lush!, which was also voted best uk sound system in the BEDA awards for its Avalon sound system. As well as a few bookings for both Baambity and the incredible Hustle in Liverpool, major and interest is being showed from other major clubs in the UK and Europe.
With the ability to get his upbeat, energetic personality to shine through when on the decks, and willingness to play almost anything, ever, as long as it was made with passion and love, this now New York City resident has achieved much since the late nineties, notably from his series of mix cds that he creates and freely distributes. Through these mix cds Ronan has received much praise from further a field than his native Derry, with two runners up awards from (now defunct) Muzik magazine’s prestigious ‘Bedroom Bedlam’ competition, which launched djs Yousef, Palo Mojo and James zabiela to name but a few, as well as an excellent ‘top tape’ award in the international magazine ‘i-dj’. Add to this an appearance in dj magazine’s office playlist, and last year alone a nomination for best new dj in the BBM Irish dance music awards, 2 guest mixes in the only national dance music radio show in Ireland, 2fm’s 626 show, and most recently an article and pic in dj mag (Jan 04 issue) about one of Ronan’s cds calling it ‘the perfect warm up selection’ and advising all promoters to give him more gigs, as each year passes, the future looks considerably busier and brighter. Ronan is indeed a fast rising talent, so ignore at your peril...
