The best hunters land big game with consistency. Michael Kernen fits the bill to perfection. During his lifetime, Kernen has taken over 30 White Tail , more than 25 with a bow.
Through skill, hard work and preparation, he has landed 11 Pope and Young deer. Kernen developed his keen instincts at a young age. He started hunting at the age of five and has worked as a guide for years. He claims the secret to his success is “To be in the right spot at the right time.â€â€™
His weapon of choice is bow and favorite big game animal to hunt is deer. Someday, he hopes to take down a grizzly bear with a bow. He’s been dreaming about this opportunity to become a pro hunter since a teenager. And now is his big chance.
Kernen looks forward to the intense competition of the WHA Tour, “I am the most competitive person you will ever meet and second place is not an option.†Currently, Kernen lives in Walled Lake, MI, working as a sales manager in the hunting industry. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his two daughters.
