At a very young age we moved to Cyprus and thet was the best thing that ever happened to me.I love the Island life,quite,calm,listenning to the wtaers hit the shore ,I learnt to enjoy the simple things in life.I had my first musical experiences with Traditional Turkish Cyriot Folk music. After working on Folk music for 7 years, I moved on to work with my first band, playing rock, blues, soul and traditional styles. This band was very successful in Cyprus. I wanted to learn more about music.I felt like I knew how to speak the language of music but had no idea about the alphabet so I decided to move to London for further education in jazz music. Since 1996 I have been studying in London attending workshops with musicians like Julian Joseph, Tina May, Billie Ocean, etc.I have been been working on solo projects and have been an active musician in the London scene, working in venues such as Ocean, performing for the Prince's Trust at the Royal Albert Hall with Pete Whittard and David Cash (Michael Ball, Jane McDonald). At the same time I completed certificate programs from NCFE (National Certificate in Performing Arts), VocalTech Diploma and he holds a honours degree in Popular Music Performance from The London College of Music and Media , Thames Valley University.I have also worked as a session musician with the well known synthesizers company Technics, recorded in Stanley House studios, recorded sessions with Kim Chandler (Natalie Cole , Uriah Heep, Michael Bolton), Richard Niles (Cat Stevens, Ray Charles). I have performed numerous times with musicians like Ian McKenzie (New London Jazz Voices), Tony Jones (Nina Simone, G. Washington Jr., Taj Mahal) and I am still an active gigging musician with THE SOULKITCHEN in the UK and European music scene.
