About Me

I've been a writer since I was old enough to pick up a pencil and put it to paper. I write a lot of fiction, and my stories are usually set in real-world places and deal with real-life situations.

Writing fiction is easy. Writing fiction that's actually good...therein lies the challenge. So much of what I've read is trite, boring, or just plain strange. I try to avoid the expected in my stories, and I try to bring the characters to life; I try to make my characters become more than just objects, or words on a page.

Thanks for reading. Without readers, I'd have no reason to write.

Here's a couple of my books - for sale from Freya's Bower.

Purchase "The Case of Heart V. Mind"

Purchase "Love Notes"

My Interests

I love to read, to write, and to cook.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet other writers, creative people, and anyone who doesn't send me a huge, glittery banner with their friend request. Actually, never send me glittery banners, or flash videos, or any of that kind of thing.

If you'd like to be added to my friends list, and I don't know you, you must answer the secret question before I'll add you. Do you have stairs in your house?

Music:

I listen to classical music, rock, country, and the occasional pop song.

Movies:

My favorite movie is Moulin Rouge, and any zombie movies. Any of them...

Books:

Romances, classics, horror--pretty much anything I can get my hands on, I'll read.
