I was raised in a Theather CompanyCarlitos Ruiz Ruiz was raised in the theather company Teatro del Sesenta, down in Puerto Rico. His Mother an actress, his Father a photographer, passed on to him the aesthethic sensibility that has defined his Work. After getting a BFA in Filmmaking from The School of the Art Institute Of Chicago, Ruiz started working as a director for Music Videos and Commercials.
Currently Ruiz is working, alongside Mariem Perez Riera, on the final touches of the feature film MALDEAMORES, a dark comedy about people on their quest for love.
