ADD OUR BANNER TO YOUR PAGE!!!We are a heavy metal band coming out of Cape Coral. Our goal is to create and preform innovative and intense music. We have played in the Cape Coral/Ft. Myers area for years, and are looking to expand our horizons and play to new crowds. Our unique sound is created by the diverse blend of talents that our members posses. From the moment we play our first note the mood in the room automatically changes and audience members captivated by the wall of sound that encompasses them. Their only instinct becomes the need to throw up the horns, dance, and become part of the most intense pits ever seen by mankind. Our members include: Josh(21), a man whose metalcore influenced vocals have been known to set off car alarms, Rey(22),who plays his guitar with a New Hampshire thrash flair, Fat Boy(19), who, lives up to his name as the Jazz/Blues influenced and trained bass player, and Dylan(19), a drummer whose experience as a concert percussionist brings a unique touch to the realm of metal drumming. All of these specific sounds blend together beautifully to create the sound that is A Season Of Violence.
ASOV started when guitarist, Ryan became friends with drummer, Paul. They decided to start a band. Ryan's long time friend, Andrew, joined as the bassist. And soon after, they found Shawn. After going through one vocalist, they finally found the sound they were looking for in Kyle. Shawn and A Season of Violence went their separate ways though, and soon after ASOV found Rey who helped to mold the band's sound early on in it's formation. In late 2007 ASOV had a falling out with Paul, and some time after Andrew was forced to leave the band due to personal affairs. Soon after Dylan and Fat Boy auditioned for ASOV and began to reshape the band's overall sound. In July of 2008, Kyle left the band due to his lack of interest in the music, an hour later, by what seems is fate, we found Josh whose on-stage antics and powerful vocals bring a stronger feel and sound to ASOV. In late October ASOV found themselves at a crossroad and made the decision to peacefully part ways with Ryan. ASOV will endure and has since found a second guitarist, Austin. We are A Season Of Violence.
