I was born and raised in Mobile,Alabama and proud of it! My immediate family consist of my mom, my dad, two older sisters, a brother in law, three neices and one nephew. Music:

I enjoy listening to gospel, jazz and old school R&B.

Movies:

My all time favorite is The Color Purple. Some of the others are Pretty Woman, Love Jones, National Lampoon Vacation, Legend of the Falls and Coming to America is just a classic.

Television:

I like Oprah, Girlfriends, Sex and the City, Cold Case Files and American Justice.

Books:

A few of my favorite reads are The Color Purple, Maya Angelou's Biographies, Maya Angelou's Collected Poems, and Nikki Giavonni's Collected Poems,Dr. Martin Luther King's Strength to Love (a must read!)

Heroes:

My mother and grandmother are hands down my heroes!!
