The Sequel are a communion of six jolly little Sheffield kids that like to play disco-core.
Fully formed at the close of 2006, The Sequel were (immaculately) conceived a few years earlier by guitarists Liam O’Neill and Chris Saywell. The completed line-up saw vocalist Chris Knowles, bassist Ali Carruthers and synth player/ guitarist Liam Robertson joining the ranks.
It’s early days, but The Sequel are looking like a knife fight down an alley in the Steel City between Van Damme and Norris with Bootsy Collins taking bets ringside.
