About Me

HEADRUSH_LYTS

"If you have [love], you don't need to have anything else,
and if you don't have it, it doesn't matter much what else you have."
Sir James M. Barrie

Oh, and to answer all of the dying questions (coughcough): A. Yes, I am engaged! B. I'm very happy, and so is my family. :) C. Thanks to everyone who has been very kind, loving, and supportive. I appreciate every positive thing that's been said. On that note, if you don't agree with it, please keep your negativity to yourself. I need your pessimism like New Orleans needs another hurricane.

My Interests

Things you should know about me:

My name is Christa. I do a lot of things.
I am an avid lover of theater, fencing, classic literature, and the English language in all of its complex pulchritude.
I wear my heart on my sleeve.
I give out third and fourth chances.
I bend over backwards to help people.
I am predominantly liberal - but that does not mean I will not respect you for your views, as long as you respect me for mine.
I will most likely be entering into the field of Law, Psychology, or Spanish. Be afraid. You will work for me in the near future.
I have fantastic friends - and yes, they are far better than yours.
Most importantly, know that when you approach me that I am an optimistic cynic.
I am fluent in sarcasm. Do not take offense - I use it in jest.
I have a fantastic boyfriend - and yes, he is far better than yours.
I am a car radio nazi. I am infamous for changing the radio station at my will.
I love interestingly shaped post-its.
I am a fashionable drama kid who does well academically and has a nerdy side. Read: I am open-minded.
I am on a perpetual quest to find love, beauty, and truth. I mean that in its full entirety.
I love people.
"Hikari" by Utada Hikaru is arguably one of my most favorite songs of all time.
"Jeopardy!" is easily my favorite TV show. Albeit, I have been found to watch trashy shows like "Flavor of Love".
I plan on conquering the world before succumbing to marriage.
I love gay people. I want my children to be gay. No, seriously.
At nights I find it hard to sleep.
I'll be attending UW-Madison in the fall of 2007 - and I've never been so excited.
I have an insane obsession with perfumes - they're like love potions.
I have this creeping feeling that I'm going to wind up as an English instructor, and it scares the hell out of me.
The color pink is fascinating.
I also find "Cosmopolitan" to be incredibly interesting and informative.
A perfect night is a warm, loving body curled up against me, a good book, and a steaming cup of tea or sugary caffeinated beverage.

And if there's anything else that you need to know, well, you could always talk to me. It's a shocking concept, I know.

I'd like to meet:

wears the intolerable brightness of your charms

The writings. *Be forewarned. They can be nonsensical or cryptic but never apocryphal. I wax poetic like candle-lit cummings. www.xanga.com/lazarusreborn  ...
