Driven by a continuous passion for quality underground electronic music, two Louvain-based enthusiasts brought “Dezz Terquez†to life. Influenced by 4 years of party-going and artists such as Steve Lawler, Sasha, Anthony Pappa, Deep Dish, Dave Seaman and many other Global Underground representatives, the two lads started spinning “progressive†at the age of 19.
Rolling and compelling bass lines, deep breaks, floating melodies and technical skills made the first bookings come quickly. They played every week at the famous Café AperO in Louvain where, after many dj sets of more than 7 hours, they surely learned to play their game. From the first edition on, “Eargasm†also asked them to fulfil a residency at this fastly growing festival.
After having shifted primarily to digital media, their music has now shaped up to a warm and energetic mixture of tech-house, deep-house, minimal-house or even some techno vibes with funky edges.
Dezz Terquez recently joined forces with the Dynamic Brothers for “down_underâ€, an innovating new concept at club Silo which will stamp its unique underground sound across the modern Belgian dance scene.
They play regularly at Belgium's infamous Club Silo and all around their hometown Leuven. They shared decks with artists like Chris Tietjen (DE), Matthias Tanzmann (DE), Nick Curly (DE), Martinez (DE), Seuil (DE), Simon Baker (DE), Eelke Kleijn (NL), Kyoshi Shimizu (JAP), Jonathan Lisle (UK), Mark Holmes, (UK), Faskil (FR), Neelix (DE), Massimo Girardi (BE), Pole Folder (BE), Phi Phi (BE), Marko (BE), …
