i have been writing songs since i was a wee bean of the world. life dealt me torment and confusion and these make for good inspiration i find. though not good for motivation and getting out there. but life is much more stable now and so here i am, baring my scars to the world. i like thunderstorms, recieving paper post (but not the bills) derelict buildings, exploring the city at night when it's quiet, new leaves on my plants, snooker, f1, listening to the birds sing while i'm still snuggled up in bed, rabbits, roadkill, film noir, good old fashioned-ness, zelda, mario paint composer.
last year turned out to be different to what i had hoped, lots of planting seeds and trying new things but without seeing the shoots rise up. my hopes have not changed much but with my strength and determination recharged, i know this year will grow into a mighty tree.
i am even more excited to be recording with the elf and the bear in our warehouse again this year, as, aside from my project, we have formed the Bright star Catalogue. it's on the other side of the musical galaxy to this stuff here, but i'm enjoying teleporting between the two. (i hope teleporting becomes possible in my lifetime.) i've also been singing in Rescue Cat's live show and continue to support Danny Valentine and the Meditations in the studio when i can. anyway, enjoy my space.
